CBSE moves SC on grace marks to students who wrote NEET in Tamil.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has moved the Supreme Court against an order initiated by the Madurai bench of the Madras High Court after it told the education body to award 196 grace marks to around 24,000 students who attempted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2018 in Tamil over discrepancies in the question paper.

Accordingly, counselling was put on hold with CBSE being asked to revise the rank list. The cut-off under NEET for the unreserved category this year stood at 119 and the cut-off for OBC, SC and ST stood at 96 out of the total 720 marks, reports The NewsMinute.
