Hyderabad skipper Ambati Rayudu was handed a two-match ban for breaching the BCCI code of conduct during a T20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match between Hyderabad and Karnataka on January 11. According to reports, Rayudu protested an error in the decision of the umpires, due to which Hyderabad lost the match. A BCCI release said that Ambati Rayudu is barred from playing in the first two matches for Hyderabad in the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy.
