A 17-year-od Bihar youth, who wanted to have a poverty-free life, strangulated a 9-year-old Surbin Kumar to death in Chiknitola village. Avanish kumar, a son of a poor daily wage worker was reportedly employed as a construction worker. As he was fed up with debts, he wanted to have a life devoid of poverty. The youth along with his friends were first playing with the boy. He later took the boy to an isolated place where he strangulated the boy with his bare hands and dumped the body in a pond. He reportedly confessed to the crime and has reportedly been arrested.
