Alastair Cook departs in style, scores 147 in final Test innings

England batsman Alastair Cook who has announced his international retirement from Tests departed in style with a century in the fifth and final test against India at the Oval. England had already won the series comfortably 3-1. He hit 147 before being caught behind. This happened to be his 33rd Test century.

Cook, understandably, so was given a standing ovation by the crowd and the players. He, earlier surpassed Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara to become the fifth-highest run-scorer in Test cricket.
