According to reports, Sri Lankan cricket team have expressed their concerns over playing the T20 final in Lahore and have made appeals to the board to change the venue of the match. Reportedly, since militants ambushed its team bus on route to Gaddafi stadium in 2009, injuring at least 7 players, no top international teams have played matches in Pakistan. The Sri Lanka Cricket Board chief has reportedly assured that security situation will be assessed and if everything is clear, they would send their best team possible.
