Ramsaran, aged 42, was beaten to death by a bridegroom and his friends for allegedly stealing shoes in his wedding. After the pre-wedding ceremonies, Surendra - the groom, was unable to find his shoes and allegedly suspected Ramsaran of stealing them. The victim sustained critical injuries and died in the hospital. According to reports, the police filed a case of murder against the groom and his four friends.
