An international sponsor backed after coming to know that Baba Ramdev will be one of the chief guests in a conference on cancer which is co-sponsored by IIT Madras. The sponsor took this step as Baba Ramdev had earlier made a remark saying that karma is the reason for cancer. After facing the backlash, Baba Ramdev opted out of the conference.
