SEVERE DUST STORM IN DELHI, 18 FLIGHTS DIVERTED

Severe dust storm along with strong winds hit Delhi and its neighbouring areas on Saturday evening. Reportedly, due to the intensity of the weather conditions, 18 flights had to be diverted.

It was reported that the wind speeds in Delhi went up to 70 - 80 km/h. According to the meteorological department, rains are to be expected within the next few hours.

The sudden weather change brought down the temperature level in Delhi. The temperature change came as a relief to the residents compared to the usual heat.
