Padmaavat to be screened amidst tight security

As many as 3,000 screens in the country scheduled to screen controversial film Padmaavat from Thursday, will do so with tight security being provided to them. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, in particular, has assured security for theatres that will screen Padmaavat in the state. Earlier, a few theatres in Rajasthan were attacked by groups who took objection to the movie, alleging that it distorted Rajput tradition and facts.
