Bus skids off bridge; kills 4, injures 32

At least four persons were killed and another 32 injured when the bus they were travelling in, skidded off a bridge and fell into a canal in Sambalpur district of Odisha, reports the Press Trust of India. The incident happened on Tuesday night. The accident happened because the driver lost control of the vehicle, initial reports say. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh.
