MAN PLANS HIS OWN MURDER; POLICE CRACKS CASE IN 5 DAYS AFTER HIS DEATH: REPORT!

Amid COVID-19 crisis and burdened with financial worries, a man from Delhi decided to end his life. In a shocking turn of events, the man hired contract killers to get himself murdered so that the family can claim hefty insurance money.

Just five days after the man's body was found, the police unearthed the plot. The man has been identified as Gaurav Bansal, who lived with his wife and children in Arya Nagar in IP Extension in Delhi. He had a ration shop and was under financial stress for the past few months. 

As per Hindustan Times report, the man had paid around Rs 60,000 to 80,000 to execute his killing, which the four accused decided to share among themselves. Meanwhile, a police official said the exact amount of Bansal’s insurance is not known but it could be Rs 10 lakh to 50 lakh. 

On June 10, the Police Control Room received a call stating that a body of a man was hanging from a tree in Baprola Vihar area of outer Delhi. When the police reached, they seen a body hanging from a tree with his hands tied. 

Soon after that, the police registered a murder case and began investigation, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) A. Koan. Meanwhile, Bansal's family members claimed that they lodged a missing complaint with the local police. 

As per Times Now report, an officer who is part of the investigation said, "We found that Bansal had withdrawn money from his bank and the family was not aware of this. His CDR showed that he was chatting with a person called Suraj. The family had no clue about the identity of Suraj."

After investigation and search, Suraj was found. He allegedly confessed to the crime and gave details which shook the family and police. Suraj claimed that he along with Manoj and Sumit committed the murder. "Suraj said that all three were hired by a teenager, who was in contact with Bansal." 

Police said they arrested a suspect, Suraj (18) Manoj Kumar Yadav (21) and Sumit (26). Also, Bansal had told the accused if they kill him, his family would get the insurance money, the police official added.
