Even after the government relaxed lockdown rules across the country, most of the IT and technology companies are in no hurry to bring employees back to offices.

Meanwhile, companies also state that work-from-home is not affecting their productivity as majority of the work happens over the internet.

According to a report in The Economic Times, amid this COVID-19 crisis many tech companies are thinking for a rotation of teams that could be applied for coming to office, while several other firms are letting employees decide if they feel to return. 

Highlighting over few companies; renowned IT giant Infosys is enabling staggered returns over several months. Currently, only 15 percent of its employees are working from offices across India.

Even, American investment bank Goldman Sachs, expects to have only around 30 percent of its workforce operating from home over the next few months. "Return to office is entirely voluntary and everyone is encouraged to take an approach that works for them, based on their personal constraints and considerations," Gunjan Samtani, head of Goldman Sachs Services told ET. 

Other companies like, Global software consultancy firm ThoughtWorks also plans to have up to 50 percent of its employees work from office on a rotational basis. Moving on to HCL Technologies', there are around 4 percent employees, who are currently working at customer locations and company's offices.

Even, tech giants - Google and Facebook in India stated to reopen the company's offices beginning July 6. While, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has asked employees to choose work from home forever.
