TECHIE HELD FOR RAPING ENGINEERING STUDENT

The LB Nagar police reportedly arrested a software company employee on Tuesday for cheating and allegedly raping an engineering student. The LB Nagar inspector Kasi Reddy reportedly said one K. Ravi Teja was a relative of the victim.

“Ravi came in touch with the victim a few years ago at a family function and become close slowly. After a period of time, he proposed marriage to the victim, and both families agreed,” the inspector reportedly said.

He later raped her and assured her that he would marry her. However, when the girl’s family approached the accused’s family for marriage, the avoided the topic. A case has been filed and an investigation is underway.
