The body of a missing 15-year-old girl was found dead in a half-naked state near a canal in Jind, Haryana on Saturday. Reports say, the girl was kidnapped on January, 9 while she was on her way to tuition. Doctors revealed that her body was assaulted with 19 severe injuries, ruptured lungs and objects were reportedly thrust into her private parts. Police suspect two to three people were involved in the attack and two special teams have been formed to carry out investigations.
