The 13-year-old minor girl, who was raped by her 55-year-old neighbour has reportedly quit school, so as to take care of her newborn baby, who was born after the rape assault. The girl, who was studying class 8 in a school in Bherla village near Panvel in Raigad district, has already stopped going to classes, according to media reports. The baby boy was a premature baby and is now under medical care. Though the hospital advised giving the baby for adoption, the girl decided to raise him.
