According to reports, a five-year-old boy, who was kidnapped on January 25 from a school bus in Delhi, was rescued and one of the abductors was shot dead in a shootout in Sahibabad near Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. The police traced the abductors to Sahibabad, about 40 km from the national capital, when they called the boy’s family on January 28 demanding a ransom of Rs 50 lakh. Reports say the boy was handed over to the family on Tuesday morning.
