The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has reportedly fined Google Inc. Rs.136 crore for showing bias in the display of search results. The CCI elaborated, saying that "Google was found to be indulging in practices of search bias and by doing so, it causes harm to its competitors as well as to users." Google will have to deposit the fine within 60 days.
