According to reports, a BJP leader named Shiva Kumar and his security guard were shot dead by two bike-borne assailants when he was travelling in his Fortuner car on Thursday. Shiva Kumar is the headman of Tigri village, and the incident took place in Bisrakh near Greater Noida, say reports. After the gunshots were fired, the driver lost control of the car and rammed it into the medium. Two other occupants in the vehicle were injured and admitted to hospital. Police have reached the spot and are investigating the matter, reports added.
