Earlier in October, a 100-year-old woman was reportedly found abandoned and unconscious at Charbargh railway station in Lucknow by an NGO working for the elderly. Reports say, after receiving treatment for the past 15 days the woman was finally able to speak and inform that she was abandoned by her son as she was unwell. However, the NGO later contacted her daughter and she was taken home by her, TOI reports say.
