PERANBU CAST & CREW
Production: Shree Raaja Lakshmi Films Cast: Anjali Direction: Ram Screenplay: Ram Story: Ram Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja Background score: Yuvan Shankar Raja Editing: Sreekar Prasad Lyrics: Na Muthukumar

Dhooramai
Vocals: Vijay Yesudas
Lyricist: Vairamuthu

In the ocean of magic, Yuvan Shankar Raja floats comfortably with Vijay Yesudas and Vairamuthu holding them up together. Dhooramaai could be termed as a treat for those looking for music to warm the heart. Vairamuthu takes a big leap in order to keep his words in sync with the listener's mood and expectation. The Yuvan-Ram combination has come out with some magical scores in the past, and Dhooramaai can join that list with no inhibitions. The song is backed by the acoustic guitars, an electric guitar solo and a lot of heart! This could go down as a melting melody for many listeners.

Anbe Anbin
Vocals: Karthik
Lyricist: Sumathi Ram

We've heard a similar track in Ram and Yuvan's previous outing Thangameengal. The same amount of soul seems to exist in this track, portraying a lovely relationship between the father and a daughter. Yuvan neatly weaves something beyond a song in which only the lyrics convey the matter at hand. Sumathi Ram debuts as a lyricist and she complements Yuvan's tune beautifully. Karthik's voice adds positivity to the track, bringing an emotional connect with ease. In short, this song is the prospect of a celebration of the bond all over again.

Vaanthooral
Vocals: Sriram Parthasarathy
Lyricist: Vairamuthu

A huge amount of sentimental value is attached to Vaanthooral. A classical rendition from Sriram Parthasarathy gives this track a fresh dimension. Yuvan breaks certain barriers to give yet another heartfelt song. Vairamuthu's lyrics are heavy and it divulges the core of the film. The tabla piece blends in with the flute to create something enchanting. There is no commercial aspect to this track, but this will definitely touch the soul of the listener. This is a very intense yet subtle track which will be an important part of the album.

Sethu Pochchu Manasu
Vocals: Madhu Iyer
Lyricist: Karunakaran

Sethu Pochchu Manasu is well held by Madhu Iyer's voice, Yuvan's tune is also very interesting in comparison to the other songs in the album. The instrumentation is unlike any other album this combination has worked on. A breezy track with the capability to touch the soul. One might wish that the Veena portion could have been extended, considering its strength in a song like this. Karunakaran's lyrics cannot be underrated, as they strike a charm on the song.

Verdict: Another Musical experience from Ram and Yuvan Shankar Raja's magical combo
