Rakul Preet Singh was last seen as the lead in the Tamil Romance Dev opposite Karthi. The actor will be next seen in the Selvaraghavan directed Suriya starrer NGK, set for a summer release. Meanwhile, the actress has signed up for her next project.
The film is titled 'Manmadhudu-2' and the film will be directed by Rahul Ravindran, star of Tamil films such as Moscowin Kavery and the 2018 hit U-Turn and husband of popular singer Chinmayi. The actor has earlier directed the 2018 Telugu hit Chi.La.Sow and Manmadhudhu is Rahul Ravindran's second film as a director. The film is a sequel to the 2002 hit Manmadhudu starring Nagarjuna in the lead role and directed by K. Vijaya Baskar.
