Irumbu Thirai which was earlier planned for Pongal 2018 was postponed due to some undisclosed reasons. Now actor/producer Vishal has officially confirmed that this action entertainer directed by PS Mithran will hit the screens on March 29.

Vishal's tweet reads as follows, "Test preview no 4 worked out Gud for #Irumbuthirai #Abhimanyudu. All suggestions noted.@Psmithran @george_dop @AntonyLRuben @Samanthaprabhu2. March 29th. Will be Gud. God bless."

Vishal's Sandakozhi 2 villain Varalakshmi Arjai and Hareesh Peradi

Sandakozhi 2, the sequel to Vishal's superhit film Sandakozhi is in the pipeline for release. Directed by Lingusamy, the film has Keerthy Suresh playing the heroine.

Exciting details about the film have been revealed by sources close to the film: Varalakshmi, Arjai and Hareesh Peradi will play villains in the film - Varalakshmi being the main villain.

Shooting for the film will begin from February 3 in Dindigul.
