Director Susi Ganesan's Thiruttu Payale 2 first look poster featured Bobby Simha kissing Amala Paul, which created a curiosity among the audience. The poster went on to become viral, and the teaser of the film was also well received.

Talking about the first look poster, director Susi, in an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, said, "Lip lock scenes in cinema has become very normal these days. When I entered the industry, those lip lock scenes were considered as a crime. I am very much surprised to know that the first look poster created a curiosity and a sensation among the audience. I thought Tamil cinema has gone to the next level, being very open about certain things.

But, after seeing the reception for the poster, I feel, there is still a certain amount of conservativeness here. Many people are claiming that the poster is very glamorous. To be frank, I am searching for the glamour quotient in the poster. I seriously do not know. However, as a filmmaker, I am happy to know that there is a curiosity for people after watching the poster and teaser."

Susi Ganeshan talks about Kanthaswamy and Thiruttu Payale 2

Director Susi Ganeshan, is gearing up for his next release Thiruttu Payale 2 starring Bobby Simha, Prasanna and Amala Paul in lead roles. Towards the release, in an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, he opens up about his ambitious project Kanthaswamy with actor Vikram. Talking about this film, he said:

“Kanthaswamy is a film which gave a profit of 20-22 crores to the producer. The biggest mistake we did for the movie is the promotions. I think, a silent film which comes in and surprises the audiences is the best. We went 3 hours live on a TV Channel for Kanthaswamy and that is something never done before.

We spent a meagre 12 lakhs on the Allegra song but people created rumours that it is worth crores. It is completely my mistake to have brought that misconception of its budget and this is what created an over expectation. However, we have made sure that we have kept it subtle for Thiruttu Payale 2 which will talk about the grey shades of every human. Nobody is a completely good person and this will be the bottomline of our film carrying a subtle message that audiences I hope will accept.”
