As announced earlier, Sivakarthikeyan's first production will be helmed by his close friend, Arunraja Kamaraj. The film titled Kanaa, has Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role with Sathyaraj playing a supporting character.
The latest update from this project is that the post-production work is now underway. Stills featuring Sathyaraj have been released suggesting that the dubbing has begun today with a pooja.
The film has music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas and Dinesh Krishnan handles the lens.

As announced earlier, Sivakarthikeyan will be starring in Indru Netru Naalai fame Ravikumar's next film. This film also has Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead and Yogi Babu as the comedian. AR Rahman will be scoring the music for this project bankrolled by 24AM Studios.
The latest big update from this film is that the shooting has begun with a pooja today. The producers took to Twitter to announce this as they said, "With all ur blessings&support we have started our dream bilingual Project @siva_kartikeyan in @Ravikumar_Dir directorial & Our Proud Academy Award winning @arrahman musical Shoot Starts Today along with Pooja🌸🌸 Bless & Support us😊👍@Rakulpreet #ishagopikar #Banupriya #yogibabu"
