''I am very proud to say that I have acted in an ‘S’ pictures film''

Very few actors only can pull everyone’s attention towards them irrespective of the character’s importance in the film. Karunakaran is one such actor of substance who tactically grabs the audience's attention often. His cupboard is full of appreciations he received for Jigarthanda, Yamirukka Bayamey, Aadama Jaichomada and Lingaa. Karuna is expecting the same with the film Kappal too.

 

“In Kappal I play a village boy called Kanaga, an aggressive young man who is totally against love and marriage. Kanaga drafts petty plans and bosses over others in the group to separate Vaibhav and Sonam Bajwa”.

 

“I have danced in this film which is much more tougher for me. Dancing for the famous ‘Oora vittu oora vanthu’ song remix is an unforgettable experience. Since I did not let Vaibhav and Sonam Bajwa stay together in the film, looks like I was cursed to be on the spot at 5 in the morning the very next day of my marriage. When my friends asked me where I am heading for my honeymoon, I used to tell them that it is in 'Kappal'. May be they thought I meant the cruise “, grins Karuna.

 

“I would like to thank producers of the movie for accommodating me in this ‘Kappal’. Shankar sir and his wife lauded my performance in the movie. I am very proud to say that I have acted in an ‘S’ pictures film. The film will entertain the mass for sure”, says Karuna.
