A spectacularly grand climax for Jai

Director Saravanan who rose to fame through Engeyum Eppothum and later went on to direct Ivan Vera Mathiri is back with Valiyavan. Jai and Andrea play the lead while D Imman takes care of the music department.

This film is in the final phase of production with a total of 85 days shot so far in places like Chennai, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, Gurgaon and other locales around Delhi. The talkie portions are said to be complete, with a couple of songs left to be canned. One song would be shot in Bhutan and the other in Delhi.

Valiyavan is expected to be one of the grandest films in Jai’s career. The climax fight sequence alone, has reportedly cost around 1 crore. We hope the director has made each and every penny count.

Jai, who has sported a six pack for this movie, also has other projects like Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum and Pughazh in his kitty. It is expected that Pughazh would be the first to hit the screen.  The makers of Valiyavan are planning to release the movie on Valentine's Day, Feb 14 2015 and the audio on the 2^nd of January.
