The fact that Kamal Haasan had already shot large portions for the sequel to Vishwaroopam has only sped up the filmmaking process of Vishwaroopam-2. Kamal Haasan has already commenced work on the remainder part of the film that will feature nearly all of the cast members from the first part. Andrea in particular is said to have a meatier role in the sequel.
 

It is being reported that the film’s producers are eyeing an Independence Day release this year for the film. They are estimating that with the shooting already underway they could well aim at August 15^th 2013 for Vishwaroopam-2.
 

Clearly the producers are aiming big this time around with around 3000 screens in mind for the worldwide release of Vishwaroopam-2. What will be interesting to see is if this film too will target a DTH release that was planned for the first edition.
