Suriya to go independent from Studio Green
Jul 04, 2013In a recent interview Suriya has been quoted as saying that he is not averse to doing small budget films or experimental films. In a move to reiterate his support to the new crop of filmmakers, Suriya has entered into the field of production.
Suriya has started his own production house named D2 Entertainment, and is expected to function independently from Studio Green which is run by his family members and manages the dates of Suriya and Karthi.
D2 Entertainment gets its name from Suriya and Jyothika’s children, Diya and Dev. The star actor desires to promote fresh talent and interesting films through his new venture but it is uncertain if he himself will feature in any of those projects.
