theft, story theft and even blatant lift
of tunes for songs. Hold your breath, have
you ever heard of location theft.
Aavani
Thingal crew has experienced such
an unusual déjà vu of
sorts recently. K S Ravikumar’s
disciple Harikrishna has this story
to narrate when he scheduled his shoots
in Pollachi.
Harikrishna had an unusual guest when
he was canning the shots for his Aavani
Thingal in Pollachi. He was filming
an important sequence with numerous
bullock carts in the location when
a plush sedan stopped by and bingo
– his eyes popped out to see
the individual dismounting from the
vehicle. It was none other than Manirathnam.
The
story goes like this. Manirathnam has
decided to film some vital scenes of his
upcoming mega flick Guru with Abhishek
and Aishwarya in the lead. Mani was surprised
to note that Harikrishna has decided the
same location for his movie as well. Great
minds think alike, ain’t it. Well,
we will know if Hari has a great mind
only when we get to see his Aavani Thingal,
what say?
