After
what seemed to have been a brief sabbatical
and a damp squib production venture, Mumtaj
is back in the sets again. She will be seen
showing off her best of the best acting
skills(!!!) in Veerasamy. None other than
her mentor T. Rajendar directs the movie.
One of Mumtaj’s poses for the movie
has stirred controversy now.
A
petition has been lodged in Ranipet
police station by the Secretary of
Velur District Social Justice Forum
Janakiraman against Mumtaj and T.
Rajendar demanding their arrests for
a pose of the movie. Mumtaj is shown
to be lying besides the All India
Reports (AIR) in an obscene manner
with skimpy outfits.
Janakiraman, in his petition stated
that the AIR contains all the judgments
issued by courts so far and this has
been used by lawyers all over and
is considered to be a holy book.
Mumtaj’s
posture is disgracing to the entire society
of lawyers and to the book, which is considered
to be honorable for the profession. Neither
Mumtaj nor T. Rajendar has uttered anything
