With
Shivaji all set for a release next
year, speculations are already on
about Rajini’s next movie. Looks
like Rajini will star in a Telugu
movie named ‘Vande Mataram’
directed by Kalyan Chakravarthy. Incidentally,
the director is said to be holding
talks with Chiranjeevi as well for
another meaty role in the movie.
Vande Mataram will be shot in 10 Indian
languages and is decided to wrap up
in 9 months with 180 call sheets.
The movie will pay a tribute to the
Vande Mataram itself and will narrate
the history of the song.
Kalyan
said that to exert a pull on the audience
towards such a movie with national importance
requires star power and that is the reason
he is planning to rope in Rajinikanth and
Chiranjeevi.
Rajini and Chiranjeevi will portray the
role of the disciples of a saint Ashram
Guruji in the movie if the talks were successful.
