It
is not new to Kollywood that has seen issues
on stories of mega projects – released
and yet to be released – quite often.
If you might remember there was a recent
claim regarding the story of Dasavatharam.
God knows how, but the issue was settled.
Seems now it is turn for Arjun’s Vathiyar.
Assistant Director Rajkumar has lodged a
complaint with the Chennai Police Commissioner
stating that his story has been stolen and
made as Vathiyar.
However, Arjun has denied the accusations
that he had walked off with Rajkumar’s
script. I have no reasons to steal
someone else’s work and call
it mine. Vathiyar is my own creation,
Arjun declared. Earlier, I had seen
someone claiming Jaihind as his work.
This is done just to obtain cheap
publicity and I have never met Rajkumar
before, Arjun added.
Eventually, this issue will disappear
like the morning mist in no time.
