The
initial success of Dhanush was a much talked
about affair in Kollywood for a long time.
Dhanush with his unconventional looks for
a hero took Kodambakkam by storm with his
hat trick success. Unfortunately wrong choice
of films led him to a stage of desperation
when he accepted all and sundry roles.
Sullan did not rise up to expectations.
Though Devadaiyai Kanden boasted itself
of a moderate success, it did not
help him much in his career. Hence
all hopes were piled upon ‘Pudupettai’
a film directed by his brother Selvaraghavan.
This film was praised for his technical
excellence but the cash box did not
jingle much.
At this juncture, his current and
upcoming film ‘Thiruvilayadal
Aarambam’ where he is being
paired with Shreya is expected to
bring him back his earlier fame. This
film is being directed by Bhoopathy
Paandiyan.
In
‘Thiruvilayadal Aarambam’, the
intimate scenes involving Shreya and Dhanush
are said to be shot in suggestive angles.
When the question of appearing in revealing
costumes arose, Shreya was reported to be
completely cooperative with the director.
According to industry sources Shreya’s
oomph quotient in this film is much much
higher than that of Shivaji and success
of ‘Thiruvilayadal Aarambam’
is certain.
