Uncertainties regarding remake of the Telugu
blockbuster movie Bommarilu in Tamil still
continues. Earlier Prakashraj and Vijay were
vying for the Tamil rights. The latest news
in Kollywood is that Editor Mohan, father
of actor "Jeyam" Ravi has also joined
the rat race.
Vishal, who is busy with his movie Satyam, where he plays
a police officer, liked the storyline of Bommarilu so
much that he readily agreed to shelve his ongoing project
to accommodate it into his busy schedule.
But Mohan wanted "Jeyam" Ravi to take up the
lead role when the story was narrated to him. Bhaskar,
director of Bommarilu who was an assistant to "Jeyam"
Raja and a close associate to his family readily agreed
to replace Vishal.
Now talks are abuzz in Kollywood that the movie is to
be directed by "Jeyam" Raja and "Jeyam"
Ravi is to don the greasepaint as the hero. With changes
happening everyday, the play with Bommarilu continues.
