We had already announced that veteran director
Bharathiraja is to direct a Hindi film titled
“Cinema”, with Nana Patekar in the
lead. The launch of the film is to be held at
Mumbai tomorrow. Bharathiraja has already left
for Mumbai. As a goodwill gesture, joining him
at the celebrations will be Vikram, who is to
work for Bharathirajas’s next Tamil film
“Kuttraparambarai”. Vikram is one
actor who does not choose his projects in a
hurry. He is looking forward to working for,
“Kuttraparambarai” for which the
shooting is likely to commence early next year.
There is a whisper that Bharathiraja is about
to announce his plans of retirement and “Kuttraparambarai”
may be his swan song.
