Maddy’s pet parrots and a talking problem
March 15, 2006

When Madhavan visited Vikram recently, he was amazed by a voice that welcomed him. It was a parrot that was calling ‘Chiyan, Chiyan.’ Yeah, that was Vikram’s pet parrot talking. Impressed by the performance, Maddy thought that he too would go for a parrot at home. He bought one from the local pet shop but that refused to speak despite intense training from the guy. When he was shooting in Thailand some time back, there he saw a talking parrot and bought that instantly. Back home, he trained it to speak but unfortunately, the parrot seemed to understand only Thai language. Maddy is wringing his hands now.
