Director Raja, Editor Mohan’s son and brother
of Jeyam Ravi, has taken on the difficult job
of remaking the Telugu hit Noo Vasthaanantae Naen
Oddhuantaanaa as Something Something Enakkum Unakkum,
a story of an NRI. It is difficult because of
the time it is made when remakes have lost their
charm. Ask Vijay about Aathi. Therefore, Raja
is taking extra care to make the film as perfect
as possible and as Tamil moviegoer friendly as
possible. Trisha, the lead lady and Ravi’s
pair, will have no problems. She has already played
the part in the original Telugu. The huge cast
also includes Prabhu, Teja Sri, Autograph Mallika
and Kalabhavan Mani. |

Devi
Prasad, who is by now a well-known name in Tamil
too, should have no problem either in understanding
the Tamil’s music sense. If everything goes
well, Raja should have no problem with this remake.
Much of the onus lies on Ravi too. And the guy
is working real hard. |
