Reema Sen acted in quite a few forgettable films
like Hum ho gaye aapke and Wah, wah Ramji. Asked
why she was not seen in films these days, she
retorted that she had stayed away basically because
she did not get interesting scripts. She had been
approached for quite a few skin show films, which
she did not want to do. Now, she is excited about
her forthcoming film with the acclaimed director
Priyadarshan. Priyan who has a penchant for comedy,
has cast her in Malamal weekly. While his films
are loaded with fun, he is a strict taskmaster
on the sets, says Reema. He does not like to deviate
from the script and does not allow his actors
to improvise. However, she felt that she had learnt
a lot about film acting under him. She hoped that
Malamal weekly would strike it big.
