Sadu Mirandal is a film under making being produced by Alka Film Corporation and has Prasanna, Kavya Madhavan in the lead roles with Abbas, Kanja Karuppu, Kalabhavan Mani as supporting cast. This film is directed by Mollywood director Siddique who shot to fame with his earlier films like Friends, Engal Anna etc. Siddique is a renowned name in the Malayalam film industry.

Not only Siddique, but there are host of other Malayalam directors who are keen to set foot in Kodambakkam in addition to Malabar actresses. Logidadas who had directed Kasturi Maan in Tamil will be directing few more Tamil films and Jeyaraj who is a celebrated director in Kerala will be making a film titled Sila Nerangalil with Navya Nair and Vincent. While talking about films in general, this director had all praise for Tamil films and said that Malayalam industry looks up to Tamil films for technical expertise and finesse. He adds, “Tamil films are the ones which augurs in latest innovative practices and narrative styles. The time has now come for the Malayalam industry to imbibe a lot from Kollywood for their betterment.” Kollywood has all the reasons to feel proud and elated with compliments coming from such an established director.
