Sneha’s sensible Telugu film with lighter moments
June 02, 2006
Sneha
Sneha has clearly made a mark for herself in Tollywood. Thanks to the success of Sri Ramadasu, she is now considered one of the best actresses in the Telugu industry. Looking at the way things are moving ahead for this actress from Kollywood, she might even step into the shoes of late actress Soundarya, who was one of the leading ladies of the Telugu film industry. Sneha’s latest venture in Tollywood is her role in ‘Manasu Palike Mounargam’.
The storyline of the film is said to primarily revolve around the character she is said to essay. The film was launched yesterday, and is being produced by Dega Arts, the producers of ‘Ammayi Bagundi’. Directed by newcomer Nagabhooshan, a former associate of Geetakrishna, Vikramadithya playing the lead opposite Sneha, K Radhakrishna scoring the music and Veturi penning the lyrics, the film promises to be something to look forward to.

At the special launch ceremony that was held at the Ramoji Film city, actress Jayasudha did the honours of presiding over the function, while Geetakrishna handled the first shot for the film.
Sneha, who looked ravishing in a simple pavadai dhavani said, “I play very docile role. It's a very meaningful character. The film starts off after the Tsunami devastation,” and continued with, "It is a heroine oriented film, but don't expect it to be a preachy and weepy film. It is a sensible film with light moments, and I really like this film."

Actor Sarath Babu, who had also attended the function said, “Producer Deva Kumar Reddy is trying to make a difference to the film industry by doing sensible films that benefit the society. Sneha is one of the very few actresses in the current generation, whose eyes are expressive, being able to emote with ease.”
