Vijaykanth must be a happy man indeed. His
party is now being observed by political
who’s who. Garnering 28 lakh votes
in the recent elections was not a mean task,
that too for a new comer like Vijaykanth.

fact, Vijaykanth’s party, the
DMDK (Desiya Murpoakku Dravida Kazhagam)
is now looked upon as an emerging
third front. Many political bigwigs
have started calling upon on the Captain.
However, the Captain seems to have
expected all these for you can see
the cool upon his face when people
come wooing him. Vijaykanth is now
shooting at Sri Rangam for his Dharmapuri
and once he completes the movie he
will have discussions with leaders
who have expressed their desires to
join hands with him.

1000 cadres of BJP headed by Akshaya Arumugham
have already joined DMDK formally. “We
have nothing against BJP but we find DMDK
and its leader’s ideology attractive,”
said Arumugham. If the going is any indicator,
Vijaykanth has arrived, politically speaking.
