penned maximum number of lyrics last
year, we recommend Na. Muthukumar
for the honors. Muthukumar’s
credit for 2006 include 56 songs for
34 films out of which he has written
all the songs for 14 films. Besides,
he is associated with prestigious
projects such as Sivaji, Pokkiri,
Bheema, Tamil MA, and Diwali to be
released in 2007.
Trained under the auspices of Balumahendra for
4 years aspiring to be a director, Muthukumar
discovered his passion for literature very soon.
His passion has definitely worked wonders. He
has recently been conferred with a doctorate
for his research.
Exploring new boundaries, Muthukumar resorts
to dialogue writing with Ajith’s Kreedom
in 2007. His title song in Sivaji with Rahman’s
music and Rajini’s presence is expected
to rock the music scene when the movie is released
