The
season of weddings in Kollywood seems
to be an ongoing event which began
with Jyothika-Surya and has now arrived
at Malavika. The 'Vaala Meenu Vilamngu
meenu' lady will be tying the knot
with her one year old lover Sumesh
who is a businessman in Mumbai.
When
vernacular media had contacted a cheerful Malavika,
she conceded that she had indeed been betrothed
to Sumesh in a simple function at Mumbai with
only family members gracing the event. Though
it all started on a friendship note a year back,
love had blossomed into their life very slowly.
Sumesh had seen her movies and had liked them
a lot. When approval from parents of both sides
was also obtained, the engagement function was
held at her residence. Of course, there was a
party later in the evening which was attended
by film personalities from Bollywood. Malavika
is also quick to point out that once the marriage
date is finalized, she would let the Tamil film
fraternity know of the same.
Whether she would continue smearing the grease
paint after the wedding solely depends on the
type of roles that would be offered to her. Here
