After
the news of the remake of Billa and
Murattukkalai is out, CD shops are
doing brisk business selling out CDs
of those movies. Fans seem to be on
a spree buying out those CDs to refresh
their memories of the movie. Many
other CDs of Rajini films –
apart from Billa and Murattukkalai
– are topping the most wanted
list as well.
It
could also be that the fans of Vijay and Ajith
are on a spree to get a feel of those movies.
Billa is being remade as Billa 2007 with Ajith
in the lead and Murattukkalai under the same name
with Vijay in the lead.
Sources state that the Billa 2007 crew was skeptical
about Rajini’s consent to retain the title.
However, smashing all the misconceptions, it seems
that the superstar called up director Vishnuvardhan
and Ajith to convey his wishes.
