Veteran
K. Balachander, Charan, Dharani, Ameer,
Boopathy Pandian, Perarasu and Vincent Selva
were engrossed in animated discussion. Senior
actor Sivakumar, Prakashraj, Abbas, Jeeva
and Thalapathy Vijay besides several junior
actors were the special invitees. Vijay
looked relaxed and chatted away with everyone.
Kushboo came with her husband Sundar C sporting
a new look for his film. S.J. Suryah was
seen with a new hairdo and left early. Young
Srikanth came in late but stayed on.
Clad in a blue full-sleeve shirt, the good-looking
Shantanoo greeted everyone. He said that
he was looking forward to working in the
film and hoped that the audience would make
it a hit. Shivi and Ishita are the heroines.
Kalaipuli Thanu, known for his mega-budget
films is the producer and his son, Prabu
is the director. A. R. Rahman will score
the music.
The film will be a youth theme in which
Shantanoo plays a college student. It will
be shot in Chennai and Bangalore while songs
would be shot in Italy. Asked whether he
received any advice from his father with
an inimical style, the young lad said that
he had been advised to stay focused on the
job. He also revealed that his long-term
goal was to become a director. Like father,
