Despite her charming looks and a string of hits—Run,
Sada Kozhi and not so big a hit—Mercury
Pookkal—Meera Jasmine doesn’t have
many offers in hand. There are no new ones coming
forth and the old ones are slipping out of her
hands. She was supposed to be cast opposite
Ajith in Naan Kadavul but Bhavana is in and
Meera is out. Lingusamy, who had earlier worked
with Meera in Run and Sanda Kozhi, wanted to
bring her into his Vikram starrer Bheema, but
then Vikram brought in his own favourite, the
Sami Maami, Trisha. It looks like time is not
favouring Meera now. Movies are going out of
hand and her own home production, Kasthurimaan,
a hit in Malayalam, bombed in Tamil. Let’s
wish Meera that time turn favourable to her.
