The Directors’ Council has
released a press statement announcing
that the directors of Tamil cinema
would actively participate in the
World Tamil Conference that is to
be held in June 2010. Talking to
the media persons, director RK Selvamani
said that the directors are planning
to stage a historical drama during
the conference and discussions are
on in this regard. He added that
several noted directors would chip
in to help make the stage drama
a successful event.
This apart, the directors also plan
to make a five-minute documentary
highlighting the glory of Tamil
language and this would be showcased
at all film theatres soon after
the Tamil Conference comes to an
end. |
