After being launched in the major
metro cities, the India International
Fashion Week is coming southwards
- to Chennai. The Chennai International
Fashion Week will be held at the
Le Royal Meriden, Chennai from 14
- 20th Dec 2009. The show will have
the collections of 40 Indian, international
designers and upcoming designers
from India and abroad.
The event is headed by marketing
and services professional Gaurav
Sharma and the team's advisors include
Shakthi Girsh, Pratap Pothen, Arun
Mammen, Girish Ramdass and Nila.
Advisors from outside Chennai include
Jamshed Mistry, Atul Kelkar, Sandip
Soparkkar, Sangeeta Sadarangani,
Francois Lavergene, Vipul Mathur,
Arjun Bajwa, Mehar Bhasin, Anupama
Varma and Rahul Dev Shetty.
Chennai International Fashion Week
(CIFW) will give Indian designers
an international platform to showcase
and market their collections to
the world media and fashion professionals
globally.
