After charming a horde of management
school-bred actors (for e.g., Siddharth,
Padmapriya), looks like the film
industry is attracting reputed medical
practitioners as well. Dr. Bharath
Reddy, a reputed cardiologist with
the Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad
recently donned the police officer’s
role in Kamal’s Unnaipol Oruvan
alongside Ganesh Venkatraman.
Bharath recognized his calling soon
enough in Telugu movies and his
break came with the Telugu flick
Siddham. Incidentally, he played
a cop in the movie as well. Bharath,
who speaks eight languages, had
to grow a moustache and put on weight
for the cop’s role in Unnaipol
Oruvan.
