Big FM had conducted a contest
to select drummers to celebrate
Rahman’s Jai Ho concert in
the city. The drummers were selected
with the help of Shankar, an ace
drummer who was also part of the
Jai Ho concert.
Sankar, who is addressed to as Drum
Shankar, started his career at the
Age of 17 and has been playing in
recording with leading music directors
including Sankar Ganesh, Vidhyasagar,
Adhithiyan, Devisri Prasadh and
Srikanth Deva. Shankar performed
at the Jai Ho venue with Rahman’s
entourage during the concert. |
